How Temp Mail Works
Temp Mail Hub generates a disposable address, receives messages for a limited time and lets the user read verification emails without creating a permanent account.
1. Generate an address
The browser creates or requests a temporary address from the available domain pool. The address can be copied and used on a website, app, forum or test form.
2. Receive messages
Incoming email for active domains is routed to the temporary inbox backend. The web inbox checks for new messages and shows sender, subject, time, body and supported attachments.
3. Use the verification code
Most users only need a confirmation link or one-time code. After the verification is complete, the temporary address can be deleted or allowed to expire.
4. Automatic cleanup
Temporary inboxes are short-lived. The default lifetime is 10 minutes, with longer options for low-risk cases. Expired or deleted messages are not meant to be restored.
5. Know when not to use it
Use a real email address for banking, government services, work accounts, medical records, legal notices, password recovery and any account that must remain accessible.
